Due to COVID I am currently teaching sewing private lessons (one-on-one at regular classroom price). Machines, supplies are sanitized between students. Masks are not required; however, I will be wearing one when working closely with a student. The curriculum follows standard beginner and intermediate outlined below. A $30 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a seat for future months. An invoice will be emailed for the remaining balance is due the 1st day of the month the class starts. This is a 4 week course so please be ready to commit! We do not have make-up classes; however, I will work with students who want to come in early/stay late to make up their time.
$120 (includes all supplies, machine usage, snack/drink for each week’s lesson).
Week 1 – Introduction to sewing machines and safety. Sew a pillow with applique, hand close using ladder/hidden stitch.
Week 2 – Learn how to sew with elastic (project to be determined by class).
Week 3 – Reading a pattern – stuffed animal project (includes how to sew on buttons)!
Week 4 – Reading a pattern – stuffed animal project (includes how to sew on buttons)!
YOUTH INTERMEDIATE -Intermediate Sewing Lessons meets for 6 weeks. All supplies, machine, and snack/drink provided for each week’s lesson. It is recommended the student have gone through the Beginner Lessons or be able to do the tasks listed in the Beginner Lessons above.

Date: April 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 (Saturdays, 10:00 – noon) CLASS IS FULL
